1. Applicable to married couples who are at presently not pregnant, and one of the spouses must be a Singapore citizen.
2. Only one sign-up form is allowed per couple. Multiple entries will not be entertained.
3. Know Your FERTILITY WELLNESS forms must be submitted between 10 February to 10 April 2023.

4. Only shortlisted couples will be contacted (from 15 April onwards) to e-mail a scanned copy of their ROM certificate (with NRIC masked out) for verification purposes.
5. After verification of shortlisted couple’s ROM certificate, an email will be sent to the eligible couple for them to redeem their fertility health consultation or TCM fertility consultation.
6. Only couples with the redemption email from I Love Children will be able to redeem the fertility consultation or TCM fertility consultation. No other e-mails will be entertained.
7. Couples are only allowed to make one appointment change with Thomson Fertility Centre and Thomson Chinese Medicine. Subsequent appointment changes will not be entertained.
8. Packages not completed by 31 July 2023 will be forfeited. Strictly no extension is allowed.
9. By signing up, you agree and consent to receive the Know Your FERTILITY WELLNESS post campaign survey and fertility-related health promo codes from I Love Children via email.
10. ILC reserves the right to refuse any sign-ups without assigning any reason whatsoever and to amend, add or vary any of the terms and conditions of the Know Your FERTILITY WELLNESS campaign.
11. Only necessary details of the eligible couple will be shared with Thomson Fertility Centre and Thomson Chinese Medicine for the purpose of the fertility consultation/ TCM fertility consultation redemption.
12. All other information obtained will be kept private and confidential and will only be used to assess the suitability of the couple for the sponsored fertility health assessment and sponsored TCM fertility consultation. It will not be used for any other purposes, in accordance to ILC Personal Data Protection Policy.

Fertility Consultation

13. The sponsored fertility health consultation (including hormone blood test and semen analysis) will be completed at Thomson Fertility Centre, 290 Orchard Rd, #19-01 Paragon Medical Centre, S238859. Tests dates and times will be scheduled by Thomson Fertility Centre between Mondays to Fridays, 2pm to 3.30pm.
14. The gynaecologist will carry out the ultrasound scan for the wife during the review of results appointment with the couple. Thomson Fertility Centre will advise the couple on the venue of the review.
15. The review of the results with the gynaecologist can only be scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays, 2pm – 3.30pm; Tuesdays and Fridays, 2pm – 3pm (excluding public holidays).
16. Due to doctor-patient confidentiality, results of the tests completed can only be released through Thomson Fertility Centre’s gynaecologist.
17. A non-refundable administrative fee of S$50.00 (excluding GST) will be chargeable by Thomson Fertility Centre upon confirmation of the appointment.
18. I Love Children and Thomson Fertility Centre reserve the right to forfeit any test results for couples who do not complete the fertility health check package.

TCM Fertility Consultations

19. The sponsored TCM fertility consultation will be completed at Thomson Chinese Medicine located at

    Consultation dates and times will be scheduled by Thomson Chinese Medicine between Mondays to Fridays.

20. A non-refundable administrative fee of S$45.00 (excluding GST) will be chargeable by Thomson Chinese Medicine upon confirmation of the appointment.
21. I Love Children and Thomson Chinese Medicine reserve the right to forfeit any consultations for couples who do not show up/are unable to complete the consultation by the stipulated date given.

1)  WHAT is a fertility consultation?

It is an assessment of a couple’s fertility health – to identify areas that may affect their chances of a natural pregnancy.

2)  WHY should couples go?

It is to help identify contributing factors and eliminate any conditions that could prevent or delay a healthy pregnancy.

Some reasons include: mild symptoms such as menstrual cramps, which are often dismissed as “normal”, and low sperm count and quality (which cannot be detected without lab tests).

Being healthy is not a sign of being fertile.

 3)  WHO should go?

Couples who are planning for children. It is also recommended for newlyweds, those trying to conceive and couples who have been trying for more than six months without success.

4)  HOW long will this result 'last'?

There’s no official ‘validity period’ as fertility is affected by many factors, such as age, stress, health, etc. which may occur at any time.

If there are no significant changes to the couple’s health profile, and where the fertility check shows normal findings, then a couple (under 35 years) may try for baby naturally for the next one to two years.

A repeat fertility check may be considered for couples who had a previous pregnancy and/or delivery:

• A long interval (2 years or more) from the last pregnancy/delivery
• Surgery performed since the last check (including caesarean section)
• New illness or change in health since the last check (including new medications or treatment)
• Couples above 35 years old

Did you know: Only a third of infertility cases are due to female problems. A third are due to males and the remaining third are due to unknown causes.
 

5)  WHERE can couples go?

Couples can visit any hospitals or clinics that has a gynaecologist with special interest in fertility. Each hospital and doctor may recommend different tests, depending on the couple’s fertility wellness. Fees vary according to the tests and doctors’ consultations.
