MRS SHER-LI TORREY is the founder & director of Mums@Work (Singapore), a social enterprise that supports women. An information source for flexi-time work or Mumpreneur business-owners, Mums@Work partners employers to implement a new way of work by holding various training workshops and career events.
Trained in personality profiling tools, Sher-li has more than 18 years of corporate experience and was formerly heading the postgraduate team at the Office of Career Services at the Singapore Management University (SMU).
As founder of Singapore’s first flexible work career portal, Sher-li is a frequent speaker at TAFEP Singapore, People’s Association and IDA events and currently sits on the Government’s REACH Supervisory Panel.
She has been a panelist speaker for an I Love Children event and is a frequent contributor to various press, magazines and online parenting sites in Singapore. She has also written numerous articles for IDA, Ministry of Manpower and TAFEP publications. Sher-li has also been interviewed on related topics in Channel News Asia’s News progarmmes. She was most recently featured as a panelist on the Singapore TV Show – Talking Point.In 2012, Sher-li co-authored the book “Successful Work-Life Balance: The Flexi-work Way/ The Mumpreneur Way”.
She is married with a daughter and son who inspire her to be better every day.
