Saying Yes To Baby Number 2

And get free gifts for trying!

I try not to stress myself out with the outcome of the pregnancy test result,  I keep it light and happy even if it’s not the result I hoped for.

Terry and I are actively trying for baby number 2, and these are some things to do while getting your BODAAAYE READY FOR BABY MAKIN’!!!

Folic Acid
Start taking folic acid before you get pregnant.  They can easily be purchased over the counter at pharmacies, and they are really affordable, it is less than $2 for 30 tablets!

Women who are pregnant or trying to get pregnant, take folic acid to prevent miscarriage and “neural tube defects”.

Ovulation kits
This is one kit I didn’t use before conceiving Raphael.

I started using the ovulation kit to track my ovulation and found that it measures levels of luteinizing hormone (LH) in the urine. A rise in LH signals the ovary to release an egg — so when the ovulation kits come back positive, you have approximately 24 to 36 hours to get your egg fertilised! (That’s a bit of time to set the mood and get ready to do the deed 😏) If your menstrual cycle is regular, you can use a period tracker app to track your ovulation before getting a confirmation on an ovulation kit.

A smiley face on Clearblue’s Digital Ovulation kit indicates…I’m ovulating!

Maybe they should consider changing the smiley to something a little naughtier, perhaps a 😈 or 😏. Hahaha doesn’t it put you in the mood? 😂

Disclaimer: Ovulation kits are used to predict your most fertile time of the month, but they do not guarantee a pregnancy.

And last but not least…

Pregnancy kits
It’s always good to have a few on hand rather than just one so as to double, triple confirm (all Singaporeans need that) your pregnancy.

Did you know that a digital pregnancy test can actually tell you how many weeks in you are? I never knew because I’ve never bought one – they are usually more expensive than the typical (double line) pregnancy kits.

And… what if I told you, you could receive Clearblue’s Digital Ovulation Kits and Digital Pregnancy test kit worth $96.10 for free?
